Chuck has worked in commercial real estate for more than 18 years. As Executive Vice President of Asset Management for Nicholas Residential, he focuses on the growth and improvement of the firm’s in-house property management company, Bellevue; he is responsible for overseeing asset management execution and providing reporting and transparency to our investors.
Prior to joining Nicholas Residential, Chuck served as the North Texas regional lead for Cortland, an Atlanta-based national multifamily owner/operator with over 45,000 units throughout the sunbelt, of which more than 8,000 units are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. During his three-year tenure, Chuck was responsible for managing the acquisitions of 15 class A or B properties, the value-add execution of over 3,500 units and more than 25 community amenities, while working with several LP, GP and debt partners.
Chuck has also served as Vice President in the Realty Management Division of Goldman Sachs, formerly Archon Group, L.P., with more than ten years’ experience in a variety of roles, including multifamily acquisitions and A/M, non-performing European loans (based abroad), and Business Intelligence.
Chuck graduated from SMU with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Finance, and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Political History. He was raised in Dallas, TX and currently resides here with his wife, Lilly, and their three children.
